This is for a character portrait in the same style as my ElForto Adventures comics. If you'd like something more like the work in my main gallery, the pricelist is different, so ask me about it. If you choose ElForto-style, you will recieve the following:

(1) Picture. (final size varies)
(1) Icon version of the same pic. (100x100 pixels)
(1) Signature resized version of the same pic, suitable for use on forums. (500x100 pixels)
(Please specify if you would like a size other than what I've listed.)

Inked (B&W Linework only)
Single Character - $30
Additional Character - +$10-20
Background - +$15-30 (depending on complexity)

CG Colored
Single Character - $40
Additional Character - +$15-25
Detailed Background - +$15-30 (depending on complexity)

Note 1: Single small animal-characters don't count as an extra character. Big-medium monsters or other animals do.

Note 2: I don't do just FFXI character portraits, I can do other MMORPG or any kind of original character as well. I'm pretty good with people and all kinds of animals & plants, but I am weaker at drawing machines like cars, planes, robots, etc.

Procedure (What I need from you):

In an email, include:

1. How many characters you want in the pic, and whether you want just the black and white, or color, as well as if you'd like a background or not. All color pics come with a basic abstract flat-color background.

2. Name and Job/Class of your character.

3. A screenshot of your character, showing all the relevant details, such as armor, weapon, face type, etc. Try to make sure it's a clear view. You can send more than one if you like, say a front-view and a side-view, but don't send me a million shots. ^^; You can attach the pics to the email, but it's even better if they're hosted somewhere and you just send me the urls.

4. Optional, but it's very helpful to me in getting a feel for your character- A description of your character's personality. Is he/she cocky and confident? Shy and reserved? Got that I'm-gonna-kick-your-butt smile?

5. Any other details you want included that might differ from the screenshot. Maybe you want your character with her hair in a pony tail, or with blue flowers in her hair, or blue hair. Anything. If you want them in a particular pose, include info on that as well, but if you want to just tell me to think of something on my own, that's ok too, and we can both see what I come up with. :)

6. Details on the background/setting, if applicable.

Payment:

I accept Paypal and Money Orders. The way payment works is that I ask for a minimum of 1/2 up front (you can pay the full amount if you wish), then when I recieve that, I start work on the basic sketch. I'll show you the sketch, and give you a chance to look it over and make sure everything's good. Then I'll implement any changes, and show you a second time. (This is your last chance to make suggestions!) After that, I'll begin working on the final, ink and color it, and when I've recieved the second half of the payment, send you a high resolution copy of the file suitable for printing, as well as a smaller copy, suitable for posting on the web. After the final is done I will allow small changes to the color if you think something needs tweaking.
